What do I need in a PEP to establish project reporting and control? The paper will present important aspects of the PEP for effective cost & time management for managers. It will show the importance of the PEP is in clarifying the scope of work and how the project will be designed, constructed and controlled. By clarifying the project plan the cost estimate and schedule will be more accurate, the reporting more focused and the control more effective. The author is past national president of AACE International and past Chair of the International Cost Engineering Council.
